ROSEWOOD – Rosa Mae Yonts, 97, of Rosewood, died Wednesday, December 22, 2021, at Maple Health and Rehabilitation. Born June 16, 1924, in Muhlenberg County. She was a homemaker and member of Macedonia Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, Thomas Yonts; son Lowell Yonts; parents Pryor and Anna Rickard; and sisters Lenora Raymer, Nell Policastri, and Ann Covington.
Survivors include her daughter, Rosemary (Gary) Winn of Rosewood; grandchildren Richard (Kathy) Winn of Rosewood and Dana (Jeff) Noffsinger of Olmstead, and great-grandchildren Tyler Winn, Katie Noffsinger, Kara Noffsinger, Jonathan Evitts, and Lincoln Evitts.
Graveside funeral services will be Sunday, December 26, 2021, at 2:00 p.m. at Macedonia Cemetery in Rosewood, with Bro. Brent Waltrip officiating. Tucker Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. Online condolences may be made at www.tuckerfuneralhomes.com.
