BROWDER – Ronnie Howard Drake Jr., 48, of Browder, died Sunday, January 7, 2024 at 8:49 a.m. at Owensboro Health Muhlenberg Community Hospital in Greenville. Born August 21, 1975 in Muhlenberg County, he was a Heavy Equipment Operator Instructor for Muhlenberg Co. Job Corps and had worked as an underground Coal Miner for 25 years. He loved the Lord; his wife, Amy; daughters, Sophia and Mirada; son-in-law, Noah; and grandson. He loved his mom and dad, father-in-law, sisters, and brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, and nieces and nephews. He loved to hunt and fish, but most of all his family and church. He was preceded in death by his grandparents.
Survivors include his wife Amy Lynne Drake; daughters Sophia (Noah) Brooks, and Mirada Drake; grandson; mother Mary Drake; father Ronnie Drake Sr.; father-in-law Larry Whitney; mother-in-law Charlotte Rogers; sisters Dee (Ron) Mallory, and Joy (Justin) Bowles; sisters-in-law Shannon (Allen) Jarvis, and Beth (Joseph) Lanier; and nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be Wednesday, January 10, 2024 at 11:00 a.m. at Tucker Funeral Home in Central City with Bro. Vernon Cook officiating and Bro. Jeremy Whitney officiating.
