GREENVILLE – Ronnie Franklin Pyle, 82, of Greenville, died Thursday, August 31, 2023 at 2:57 a.m. under the care of Hospice of Western Kentucky in Owensboro. Born February 15, 1941 in Madisonville, he was a member of Jernigans Chapel United Methodist Church in Greenville, worked as a non-union Face Boss for Peabody, and was a US Air Force Veteran. He was preceded in death by his parents, Russel and Opal Pyle; and sister, Jane Brown.
Survivors include his wife, Janice Pyle; sons, Russ Pyle, and Neal Pyle; four grandchildren; and nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be Saturday, September 2, 2023 at 11:00 a.m. at Tucker Funeral Home in Central City with Neal Pyle officiating. Burial will follow in Jernigan Chapel Cemetery.
