HOPKINSVILLE – Ronald Joseph “Ronnie Joe” Rhoades, 50, died Saturday, January 22, 2022, at Jennie Stuart Health. Born May 29th, 1971, he was a member of New Harmony Baptist Church. Ronnie Joe lived in Hopkinsville where he paraded with his big german shepherd, Bentley, and worked at the Wal-Mart Distribution Center since 2003. He was a U.S. Army Veteran and was a non-traditional student earning a Master’s Degree in Science in 2018 at Murray State University where he was currently pursuing his PHD.
Ronnie loved shoes and entertained his family and friends with his shoe reviews that he posted on his you tube channel “Rhoade Runner Reviews”. He loved life, family and was a very caring person. Ronnie Joe will be forever loved and missed by all who knew him. Heaven has gained another angel. He was preceeded in death by his grandparent, Joe Halbert and Martha Jean Rhoades of Bremen and grandfather, Everett Eugene Harris of Central City.
Survivors include his parents, Ronnie and Betty Rhoades of Bremen; brother Robert Lee Rhoades; children, Victoria (Duane) Davenport, Sarah Rhoades, and John Halbert Rhoades; his granddaughter, Danie Davenport; and grandmother, Betty Harris.
