NORTONVILLE – Roger Dale Skimehorn, 64, of Nortonville died Thursday, June 3, 2021 at Madisonville Baptist Health. Born April 4, 1957 he was a self-employed lawn care worker and member of Good Hope Church. He was preceded in death by his grandson Danny Skimehorn; parents Holbert and Iceybell Skimehorn; brothers Ed Skimehorn, Cliff Skimehorn, Rhea Skimehorn, Herbert Skimehorn, Timothy Skimehorn and sister Mary Poe.
Survivors include his wife Cartie Skimehorn of Nortonville; children Mandy Skimehorn, Roger Skimehorn, Melissa Eastwood and Bryan Skimehorn all of Nortonville; 10 grandchildren; three great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews; brothers David Skimehorn, Norman Skimehorn, Elzie Skimehorn and Norris “Bucky” Skimehorn; sisters Joann Smith, and Sandra Pierce.
Funeral services will be Tuesday, June 8, 2021 at 12:00 p.m. at Tucker Funeral Home with Bro. Larry Phaup and Bro. William Pierce officiating. Burial will follow in New Salem Cemetery in Nortonville. Visitation will be Tuesday, June 8, 2021 from 10:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m. at Tucker Funeral Home, 113 N. 3rd St., Central City, KY 42330.
