DRAKESBORO – Robert Arnold “Sunshine” Glenn, 62, of Drakesboro, died Sunday, October 16, 2022, at 9:45 p.m. at Owensboro Health Muhlenberg Community Hospital in Greenville. Born February 3, 1960 in Muhlenberg County, he worked for the Greenville Utilities Commission and was of the Presbyterian faith. Robert loved his family, especially his daughters and grandchildren. He loved Chevrolets, fishing, his cows, his friends, and his work family. “Sunshine” was an easy-going soul, with one of the kindest hearts the Good Lord ever made. He was preceded in death by his daughter, Bridget Glenn; parents, Robert “R.T.” and Eddith Arnold Glenn; grandparent, J.R. Glenn; and grandparent, Virgie Todd Shemwell.
Survivors include his companion, Sharon Glenn; daughters, Kellie (William) Grayson and Rebecca Glenn; grandchildren, Brittany, Jayden, Robert Lee, Luther, and Kess; sisters, Elizabeth (Larry) Bullock, and Roberta (Eddie) Dortch; nieces and nephews, Barbara Hill, Tiffany Doss, Chris Dortch, and Jonathan Dortch.
Funeral services will be Thursday, October 20, 2022 at 11:00 a.m. at Tucker Funeral Home in Central City with Rev. Danny Mooneyhan and J.D. Hill officiating. Burial will follow in Rose Hill Cemetery.
