CENTRAL CITY – Rena “Agnes” Arnold Weatherford, 90, of Central City, went home to be with the Lord on Friday, May 8, 2026 at 8:28AM under the care of Hospice of Western KY in Owensboro. Agnes was born in Butler County on May 30, 1935. She was a Homemaker and a member of Richardson Chapel General Baptist Church. She was loving and devoted to her husband, Glen Weatherford of 57 years, her children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, church family and friends. She was preceded in death by her husband, Conard Glen Weatherford; mother and father, Roscoe Arnold, Sr. and Gillian Weatherford Arnold; and brothers, Roscoe Arnold, Jr., Charles William Arnold, and Lindel Ray Arnold.
She is survived by her children, Wayne (Sonora) Weatherford, Rena (Michael) Kyle, and Gary (Kim) Weatherford; grandchildren, Larry (Emily) Brooks, Danielle (Daniel) Dacy, Brad (Ashlea) Brooks, Jennifer (John) Jones, Josh Weatherford, and Devin (Brooklyn) Weatherford; great-grandchildren, Maria Brooks, Aleah Brooks, Brilee Brooks, Emma Jones, Bella Brooks, Rylan Brooks, Hayden Jones, and Paislee Dacy; great-great-grandchild, Scotty Caudill; step-grandchildren, Chad Kyle, and Kristina Kyle; step-great-grandchildren, C.J. Kyle, Alisha Kyle, Dixie Vincent, Raylan Kyle, Glorianna Bruce, and Shannon Kyle; brother, Cecil Eugene Arnold; sister, Maydean Arnold Beliles; and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be Monday, May 11, 2026 at 11AM at Tucker Funeral Home in Central City with Bro. J.W. Haire officiating. Burial in Rose Hill Cemetery. Visitation will be Monday from 9-11AM at the funeral home. Online condolences may be made at www.tuckerfuneralhomes.com.
