BEECH CREEK – Phillip Wayne Buchanan, 65, of Beech Creek, died Thursday, September 19, 2024 at 8:50 a.m. at Maple Health and Rehab. in Greenville. Born January 6, 1959 in Greenville. He worked as a Laborer for the Salvage Yard and was of the Baptist Faith. He loved to fish and hunt. He was preceded in death by his parents, Roudan and Eunice Buchanan; brother, Thomas “Tommy” Buchanan; grandparents, Fannie Defreeze, Henry and Dorothy Buchanan, Mabel and Tobe Ford.
Survivors incoude his seven siblings, Charlene Johnson, Shirley Dwyer, Brenda Kay Zachery, Carolyn Garrett, Bruce Buchanan, Mable Groves, Chester Buchanan; several nieces and nephews; and several great nieces and nephews.
