BEECHMONT – Phillip Dwight Oller, 71, of Beechmont, died Sunday, November 2, 2025, at Vanderbilt University Medical Center in Nashville. Born December 6, 1953, in Hopkinsville. He was an underground coal miner with Peabody Coal Co. for 42 years, and a member of Woodson Missionary Baptist Church in Powderly. He was preceded in death by his parents, Milton and Nellie Oller.
Survivors include his wife, Anna Richard Oller; daughter, Kim Dishman; three grandchildren; one great-grandchild; cousin, Curtis Thomason; and fur babies, Hector and Cookie.
Funeral services will be Friday, November 7, 2025, at 11:00 a.m. at Tucker Beechmont Funeral Home, with Bro. Nick Duvall officiating, assisted by Brent Noffsinger. Burial in Forest Grove Cemetery. Visitation will be Thursday after 5:00 p.m. and Friday after 8:00 a.m. at the funeral home. Expressions of sympathy may take the form of contributions to American Diabetes Association.
