GREENVILLE—Peggy Joyce McGehee, 86, of Greenville died on Monday, February 19, 2024 at Owensboro Health Muhlenberg Community Hospital in Greenville. Born in Muhlenberg County on January 23, 1938, the daughter of George “Boye” Johnson and Milbra Wells Johnson. She was a manager at Bethel and Best Way Cleaners, and a member of Woodland Baptist Church.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Denzil McGehee in 1989, and 12 brothers and sisters.
Funeral services will be held on Thursday, February 22 at 7:00 p.m. at Gary’s Funeral Home in Greenville with Rev. Tommy Webb officiating, assisted by Rev. E. W. Greenwalt. Burial will be private in Woodland Cemetery.

Larry McGehee of Smithland,
Pam Fox of Belton,
Kelly McGehee of Greenville,
Wendy Coin of Greenville,;
five grandchildren;
four great grandchildren.
Visitation will be on Thursday, February 22 from 4:00 p.m. until time of funeral at 7:00 p.m. at Gary’s Funeral Home.
