SACRAMENTO – Our beloved Mother and Mamaw, Peggy Conrad, left this world to be with her heavenly Father from Baptist Health Deaconess surrounded by her family Monday, September 30, 2024, after a short illness. She was 74.

Born October 2, 1949, at home to the late Wilburn Bartlett and Lois (Bartlett) Owen in Ohio County..

Peggy was the heart and soul of our family and will leave a massive hole in our hearts. She raised her three children in a happy and loving home whom she dearly loved, and which was the light of her life. Peggy was married for 49 years to her soulmate William “Bootie” Conrad, who preceded her in death. She was a loving Mamaw and Great-Mamaw.

Peggy was loving and caring to her family, friends and anyone who needed care. She chose the profession of nursing a little later in life to share her compassion of caring.

Peggy loved spending time with her family. They were her life and always smiled when any of them came in the door. She loved nature and watching birds and wildlife, her Saturday nights looking for deer and her Sundays watching them load up the boats at Rough River Lake, and all of her weekend outings with family. One of favorite things to do was to watch her great-grandchildren play.

Survivors include her children, Tammie Tuttle (Dennis), Chris Conrad (Dana) and Terri Miller (John) of Sacramento.

A dear uncle who was more of a brother to her, Bobby Pierce (Ruby) of Bremen.

Her six grandsons, Brandon Tuttle (Amber), Jonathan Tuttle (Stephanie), Matt Miller (Megan), Jacob Miller (Sharon), Ross Conrad (Cheyenne) and Trevor Conrad (Tesla) of Sacramento. Ten great-grandsons and three great-granddaughters and expecting another great-granddaughter in February of 2025.

Funeral services will be at Friday, October 4, 2024 at Tucker Memorial Chapel in Sacramento, KY at 1 p.m. with Elder Dennis Tuttle officiating. Burial in Bethlehem Cemetery. Visitation will be Thursday from 5-8 p.m. at the funeral home. Online condolences may be made to www.tuckerfuneralhomes.com.
