CENTRAL CITY – Peggy Beck Gossett, 88, of Bremen, passed away, Monday, June 30, 2025 at Owensboro Health Muhlenberg Community Hospital in Greenville. Born August 5, 1936 in Sikeston, Mo. to the late Cecil Burk Beck and Virginia Ira Taylor Beck. She was married to Charles Milton Gossett on April 21, 1984. He passed away October 13, 2021. They both were members of the Church of Latter Day Saints. They worked in the Louisville Temple for six years of which was a great joy to them. Peggy and Charles spent their 41 years together enjoying their love for animals and enjoying their time together. In addition to her parents, Peggy was preceded in death by her two sisters, Betty Jane Moore, and Dorothy Anne Brown.

Survivors include her brothers, Jerry Lee Beck of Wisconsin and James L. Stout of Missouri, and two nieces; and two great-nieces; her stepson, Chuck Gossett; and two step-daughters, Belinda Ashton, and Jennifer Reynolds.

She was deeply blessed by her dear friends who she considered family, Matt and Christinea Devine. Peggy was an honorary grandmother to their children, Caitlynn (River), Kindell, and Michael Devine.

Graveside Services will be Monday, July 7, 2025 at 11 a.m. at Shavers Chapel Cemetery in Bremen with Bishop Kenny McCarraher officiating, assisted by Bishop Donnie Abney. Burial to follow. Everyone is invited. Tucker Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. Online condolences may be made at www.tuckerfuneralhomes.com.
