GREENVILLE – Paulette Saulsberry Gadson, 70, of Greenville, died Tuesday, January 25, 2022, at Baptist Health Deaconess Madisonville. Born March 10, 1951, in Muhlenberg County. She was a homemaker, and worked in the lab at U.S. Tobacco in Hopkinsville. She was a member of Browder Chapel Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her parents, Otis and Mary Saulsberry; husband, Nathaniel Gadson; sisters, Faye Saulsberry, Betty Drake, and Mary Katherine Saulsberry; and brother, William Miles Saulsberry.
Survivors include her daughters, Geleta Gadson of Texas, Carmen King of Texas, Angela (Edgar) Reynolds of Greenville, Terra (D-Arcy) Davis of Clarksville, Tenn., Kimberly Saulsberry of Greenville, and Shateka Saulsberry of Greenville; sons, David (Nikki) Saulsberry of Central City, Kris (Keisha) Saulsberry of Greenville, Nathaniel (Cindy) Gadson, Jr. of Ind., and Kerry Holden of Lexington; brother, Rev. Otis T. (Uneobia) Saulsberry; sisters, Mary (David) Johnson and Valenia Johnson; a host of grandkids, nieces, and nephews; Brother-in-law, Wesley L. Drake, and specials friends, Patrice Drake Cox, Ferenetta Stripling, Mary Finch, and Loretta Allen.
Funeral services will be Monday, January 31, 2022, at 1:00 p.m. at First Baptist Church, Oak Street, Greenville, officiated by Rev. Michael Powell, Rev. John Lee, Rev. Terrance Minor, and Rev. David Johnson. Burial will follow in West End Cemetery. Visitation will be Monday after 11:00 a.m. at the church. Tucker Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
