Paula Sue Bowles passed away at the Bowling Green Medical Center February 08, 2025. She was the daughter of the late Paul Y. and Gladys Bowles of Graham (Muhlenberg County). She was also preceded in death by one sister, Shelia Bowles and one niece, Ashley Curry. She worked at Western Kentucky University where she obtained her bachelor’s and master’s degrees. She also attended Capella University where she was writing her dissertation to complete her doctorate. She was an active member of Wingfield United Baptist Church.
Survivors include her two sisters Cheryl (James) Sparks of Madisonville and Kaye McElvain of Greenville; one brother, Paul “Butch” (Paula) of Greenville; four nieces Sherri (Rusty) Padgett of Madisonville, Shannon (Scott Wells) Sparks of Madisonville, Kandel Beasley of Greenville; two great- nephews Braydon Padgett of Madisonville and Ashton Beasley of Greenville; five great- nieces Mikalia (Mason) Fairchild of Greenville, Kailey Bowles, and Abby Curry both of Greenville and Lucy Wells of Madisonville, and Lorelai Fairchild of Greenville; one uncle Garld Jennings and one aunt Lois Ann Cornelius of Lewisburg; and her special friends, Jeff and Lori Heinz of Bowling Green.
There are no services at this time and cremation has been chosen. Expressions of sympathy may be made to Wingfield United Baptist Church or the American Cancer Society.
