Millport- Paul Sherman Sr., 57, gained his wings November 5, 2020 Born May 27, 1963 to Roland “Rudy” and Nell Pauline Sherman. Along with his parents, he is preceded in death by his loving wife of 35 years Nellie Sherman, he was also greeted in heaven by his brother Larry Sherman and sister Loretta Stillwell. Mr. Sherman worked as a timber cutter.
Survivors include one son Paul (Candace) Sherman; daughters Jennie Sherman and Tabitha Amos along with one step-daughter Dana Ryan. Nine grandchildren; sisters, Carolyn Whitaker, Cynthia Salmon, Patricia Sherman, Becky Tracy and Betty Cavanaugh, and brothers Kenny and Charles Sherman and many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Funeral services will be Tuesday November 10, 2020 at 12:00 p.m. at Tucker Funeral Home in Central City with Bro. Larry Phaup officiating. Burial will follow in Mt. Carmel Cemetery in White Plains. Visitation will be Tuesday after 9:30 a.m. at the funeral home. Family and friends who are attending the visitation or funeral service are asked to wear a face mask for the safety of all those in attendance, in accordance with the governor’s mandate.
