WHITE PLAINS – Patty Sue Jones, 75, of White Plains, died Wednesday, August 23, 2023 at Owensboro Health Muhlenberg Community Hospital in Greenville. Born May 20, 1948, she was a Homemaker and CNA and attended Friendship Missionary Baptist Church. She loved going to church, reading, spending time with her family and grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She loved to draw art. She was preceded in death by her parents, Magdalene and James Thomas Mannahan, Sr.; husband, Gary R. Jones; son, Randall Allen Jones; three sisters, Elizabeth Ann Jackson, Dora Belle Jackson and Peggy Mannahan; and three brothers, Joe David Mannahan, Euell Mannahan, and Hershel Mannahan.
Survivors include her daughters, Sherlynka Jones, Desta (Sonny) Pointer, Terrica (Brian) Emerson; son, Jacey (Beth) Jones; ten grandchildren; fifteen great-grandchildren; and brother, James Thomas Mannahan, Jr.
Funeral services will be Monday, August 28, 2023 at 11:00 a.m. at Tucker Funeral Home in Central City with Bro. Jacey Jones officiating and Bro. Jerry Eades assisting.
