DRAKESBORO – Particia Ruth Dobbs, 79 of Drakesboro, passed away peacefully at her residence Friday, March 21, 2025, surrounded by her loving family. April 2, 1945, to loving parents Earl Conley Sr. and Bonnie Robinson.
She is preceded in death by her parents, six sisters, and seven brothers.
She was a homemaker and a loving mother who was known for her smile, laughter, and kindness to everyone she met along the way. She was a faithful member of Cleaton Baptist Church, where she loved being a part of everything they were doing. She enjoyed being outside sitting in her swing watching the hummingbirds or working in her flower garden. When it came to her grandchildren, she had such a special bond, it was nothing to pass by her home and see her out in the front yard playing tag or a good game of wiffle ball. She also loved spending time with her family, playing cards, and working on puzzles.
Survivors include her loving husband of 47 years, Donnie Dobbs; daughter, Samantha (Brian) Jones of Bowling Green; sons, Tracy (Telenia) Dobbs of Drakesboro and Clay Dobbs of Bowling Green. Grandchildren; Taylor Jones, Jacy Jones, Jordan Dobbs, Andrew Dobbs, Triston Dobbs, Addie Dobbs, and Lexie Dobbs; and five loving sisters.
Funeral Services will be held on Wednesday, March 26, 2025 at 11 a.m. at Tucker Beechmont Funeral Home with Bro. Brian Jones officiating. Burial will follow in Ebenezer Cemetery in Drakesboro with Bro. Todd Cartwright officiating the graveside service.
