SACRAMENTO – Patricia Bernadine Riley, age 83, of Sacramento, KY went to be with the Lord on Thursday, March 5, 2026, at Madisonville Deaconess Hospital. Pat was born on June 2, 1942, in Chicago, IL to the late Ferdinand Sandstrom and the late Bernadine Lamb Sandstrom. She was preceded in death by her late first husband of 39 years, Edwin Schindler; daughter, Terri Bell; brothers, Doug Sandstrom and Buddy Sandstrom; and sisters, Eileen Massey, Sherry Triggs, Judy Kraulidis, and Dolores Jarrett. Pat loved her friends and family, and enjoyed homemaking, fishing, playing games, and supporting her church. She was a longtime member of Station Baptist Church in Sacramento, KY.
Survivors include her precious husband of 22 years, Austin Riley of Sacramento, KY;
daughters, Tammy Valentine, and Kelly (Tim) Pannell; son, Jeff (Brenda) Schindler; step daughters, Theresa (Greg) Burton, Regina (Mark) Shepherd, and Sandra Riley; sister, Donna Devine; grandchildren, Shawn (Nicole) Taylor, Kacey Bell, Jody (Derrick) Edmonds, Kerri Bell, Amanda Watts, Adam Watts, and Melissa (Mike) Curran; step-grandchildren, Amanda (Jason) Tucker, Adam (Jessica) Burton, Andrew (Jackie) Burton, and Ashley (Derrick) Byrd. Pat is also survived by her beloved great grandchildren and many family members; and of course, her good boy, Yeller.
Funeral services will be Monday, March 9, 2026 at 11AM at Station Baptist Church in Sacramento with Bro. Dan Yeager officiating, assisted by Bro. Greg Burton. Burial in New Cypress Cemetery. Visitation will be Sunday from 5-8PM at Tucker Memorial Chapel in Sacramento and at the church on Monday after 10AM.
