GREENVILLE – Pastor Larry Clayton Hancock, 77. of Greenville, died Friday, October 31, 2025 at Owensboro Health Muhlenberg Community Hospital Emergency Room in Greenville. Born in Union County, Ky. September 2, 1948, the son of William Hancock and Pauline Holland Hancock. He was the pastor of Landmark Assembly of God Church. He loved the Lord and loved to study and preach the Bible.
Pastor Hancock was preceded in death by his parents, and his wife Margie Nell Bivins Hancock in 2022, and a son Jamie Hancock.
Funeral services will be held on Thursday, November 6 at 1:00 p.m. at Gary’s Funeral Home in Greenville conducted by Rev. Shane Garrett. Burial will follow at Landmark Cemetery.
Survivors include three sons, Terry Culaper of Shelbyville, Ind., Cary Daugherty of Greenville, Tommy (Annie) Daugherty of Bowling Green; three grandchildren; seven great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be on Thursday, November 6 from 10:00 a.m. until time of funeral at 1:00 p.m. at Gary’s Funeral Home.
