Nevin Prentice Bard

GREENVILLE – Nevin Prentice Bard, 61, of Greenville, died Friday, March 28, 2025, in Greenville.  Mr. Bard was born October 6, 1963, in Muhlenberg County.  He was an analyst for Land o’ Frost, and was a member of Powerhouse Church of God and Christ in Greenville.  Mr. Bard enjoyed traveling, mission trips, going to Vietnam to help sponsor a family, culinary arts, and photography.  He was an instructor for KTCTS, and he spoke Spanglish, Italian, German, Japanese, Mandarin Chinese, and Brazilian Portuguese.  He was preceded in death by his parents, Elder John West Bard and Rosie Mae Drake Bard; brother, John Alexander Bard; and sister, Gloria Brewer.

He is survived by his brothers, Elder Charles Bard, Minister Donald Bard, Elder Cecil (Monessa) Bard, and Elder Kelly (Sandra) Bard; sisters, Erma Bard, Oneta Bard, and Beverly Bard; special sister-in-law, Sally Bard; aunt, Louella Drake; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

Funeral services will be Friday, April 4, 2025, at 12:00 noon at Tucker Funeral Home, with Elder Kerry Wayne Butler officiating, assisted by Elder Kelly Bard.  Burial in West End Cemetery.  Visitation will be Friday after 11:00AM at Tucker Funeral Home.  Tucker Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.  Online condolences may be made at www.tuckerfuneralhomes.com.
