CENTRAL CITY – Nancy Mae Epley, 87, of Central City, died Tuesday, December 29, 2020 at her home. Born May 28, 1933, in Muhlenberg County. She was owner and operator of Epley Family Care Home and a member of South Carrollton Missionary Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, Clayton “Buster” Epley; sons Jerry Epley, Stuart Epley, and Jeffrey Epley; daughter-in-law Melissa Scott Epley; brothers Billy Rager and Bobby Rager; sisters Barbara Frakes and Wanda Revlette and parents Arthur and Elsie Rager.
Survived include her sons, Lendle Epley, Ricky Epley, Jimmy Epley, and Johnny Epley; daughters Sandra Herman, Patricia Hancock, and Tina McRoy; sisters Edna Heady and Mary Jane Geary; 11 grandchildren; and 15 great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be Thursday, December 31, 2020, at 12:00 p.m. at Tucker Funeral Home in Central City, with Bro. Mike Neal officiating. Burial will follow in Pine Grove Cemetery. Visitation will be Thursday after 9:00 a.m. at the funeral home. Family and friends are asked to wear a face covering, in accordance with the governor’s mandate.
