GREENVILLE – Nancy Louise Gates, 83, of Greenville died Saturday, August 30, 2025 at Maple Health and Rehabilitation in Greenville. Born in Todd County, April, 16, 1942, the daughter of Johnnie Wells and Beulah Petrie Wells. She had worked at Wing Supply in Uncle Lee’s. She was a member of New Paradise Baptist Church for 48 years and was a dedicated wife and mother.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband of 51 years Billy Faye Gates in 2011, three brothers, and a sister.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday, September 3 at 1:00 p.m. at Gary’s Funeral Home in Greenville with Rev. Tim Adcock officiating. Burial will follow in Joines Chapel Cemetery in Greenville.
Survivors include her daughter, Patricia Mahlosky of Greenville; son, Barry Gates of Calhoun; four grandchildren; seven great grandchildren; four great-great children.
Visitation will be on Wednesday, September 3 from 10:00 a.m. until time of funeral at 1:00 p.m. at Gary’s Funeral Home.
