BEECH CREEK – Myrtie Kennedy, 88 of Beech Creek died February 15, 2025 at 7:50 p.m. at her residence. Born July 9, 1936 in Muhlenberg County. She was a homemaker and was of the Baptist faith. She was preceded in death by her husband Ted Kennedy, Parents, Hugh and Ethel Owens, Brother, Melfred Owens, Jack Owens, Travis Owens and Andrew Owens, Sisters, Henrietta and Loretta.
Survivors include her children, John Kennedy, Robert Kennedy, Keith Kennedy) Cindy Garrett. Sister, Oretha Joines, Several Grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Graveside Funeral services will be Friday February 21, 2025 at 11:00 a.m. at Union Ridge cemetery. Burial will follow in Union Ridge Cemetery. Bro. Greg Brooks will be officiating.
