Mossie Marie Wells, 65, of Drakesboro died Friday, May 9, 2025 at Owensboro Health Muhlenberg Community Hospital. Born in Greenville October 19, 1959, the daughter of John Henry Wells and Virdie Marie Mayes Wells. She was a caregiver to family members for many years and she loved caring for her grandsons. She enjoyed the outdoors and she was of the Baptist faith.
She was preceded in death by her parents, one brother Johnny Junior Wells, and four sisters Louise Paige, Josephine Hope, Ruby Jean Wells, and Katherine Juanita Wells
Funeral services will be held Tuesday, May 13 at 1:00 p.m. at Gary’s Funeral Home in Greenville, officiated by Dr. Kevin Milburn. Burial will follow in Ebenezer Cemetery.
Survivors include two nieces, Krystal Geary of Drakesboro and Jennifer Lynn Wells of Central City;
a nephew, James Fulkerson of Greenville; seven grandchildren; one sister, Linda Wells Boggess of Bremen.
Friends may call after 10:00 a.m. Tuesday, May 13 at Gary’s Funeral Home until time of service at 1:00 p.m.
