GREENVILLE – Monica Renee Walton, 60, of Greenville, died Monday February 19, 2024 at 7:06 p.m. at Owensboro Health Muhlenberg Community Hospital in Greenville. Born December 6, 1963 in Muhlenberg County. She was a Homemaker, of the Baptist faith, and a graduate of the Bremen High School Class of 1981. Monica loved all of her friends and family. She loved watching baseball with her husband, playing cards and Aggravation with Sarah Cobb, Mike Edwards, and Cory McIntosh. Monica loved to cook for her husband and working in her flowerbed. She is preceded in death by her mother, Patty Sue Vincent; grandparents, Anton and Rena Mencer; and special Aunt and Uncle, Betty and Floyd Ashby.
Survivors include her husband, Jerry L. Walton; son, Trevor Walton (Fiancée Shanda Capps); father, Larry Vincent; sister, Davida (Bryon) Stewart; nephews and nieces, Terry Doss, Chris (Jessie) Noffsinger, Dewayne Noffsinger, Patrick Noffsinger, Amanda (Jim) Edwards, and Logan Noffsinger; and special cousins, Donna (Gary) Scott, Cindy (Clay) Reynolds, and Sabrina Ashby.
Funeral services will be Thursday, February 22, 2024 at 12 p.m. at Tucker Funeral Home in Central City with Bro. Mike Neal officiating. Burial will follow in Fairmount Cemetery in Central City.
