Mitzi Gail Maddox Kerndl, 57, of Brentwood, Tenn., formerly of Hopkinsville, passed away Sunday, May 2, 2021, at Tri-Star Centennial Medical Center in Nashville of natural causes. Born August 14, 1963, in Greenville, the daughter of Wanda Parham Maddox and the late Joseph Maddox. Mitzi was a Women’s Health Nurse Practitioner. She was a member of Southside Church of Christ and Fourth Dimension Ministry.
Funeral Services will be at 11:00 AM Thursday, May 6, 2021, at Maddux-Fuqua-Hinton Funeral Home with Bro. Bryan Dill officiating and burial to follow in Riverside Cemetery. Visitation will be at Maddux-Fuqua-Hinton Funeral Home from 5:00 PM until 7:00 PM on Wednesday, May 5, 2021. Maddux-Fuqua-Hinton Funeral Home has been entrusted by the family to handle the arrangements.
Survivors include her husband of 8 years, John Kerndl of Brentwood, Tenn.; mother, Wanda Parham Maddox of Hopkinsville; two sons, Ben (Lindsay) Roberts of Paducah, Beau (Katy) Roberts of Hopkinsville; brother, Mark (Taiye) Maddox of Hopkinsville; sister, Shaye Maddox (Paul) Watts of Hopkinsville; step-son, Patrick Kerndl of Tenn.; step-daughter, Elizabeth Kerndl of Chicago, Ill.; mother-in-law, Dorene Kerndl of Franklin, Tenn.; and grandchildren, Graysen, Miles, Ryleigh, Jada, and Adalynn.
