LOUISVILLE – Mitchell F. Gregory, Sr., affectionately known as Mitch, left this world September 14, 2025, at the age of 88 in Louisville. Born October 6, 1936, in Bevier.
He was a truck driver with The Kroger Company for 31 years.
Survivors include his devoted wife of 63 years, Barbara Faye Gregory; children, Mitchell Gregory, Jr. (Theresa), Timothy Gregory (Tina), Christopher Gregory (Allison), and Susan Manfredi (Greg); 10 grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; sisters, Mary McIntyre and Phyllis Mitchell, and his brother, Dorris Gregory.
Mitch was preceded in death by his parents, Cecil Ellis Gregory and Betty Zaeh, along with his sisters, Wanda Slinker, Dorothy Hamner, Shirley Richards, and his brother, Bennie Gregory.
Visitation will take place at Newcomer Funeral Home, East Louisville, located at 235 Juneau Dr, Louisville, KY 40243, September 23, 2025, from 1:00 p.m. to 4:30 p.m., followed by a funeral service beginning at 4:30 p.m. Private burial will take place at Resthaven Memorial Park in Louisville.
