CENTRAL CITY – Mikeal Anthony Santoyo, Sr., AKA Madd Mexx, 59, passed away, Saturday, September 20, 2025 at 10:03 a.m. at Owensboro Health Regional Hospital in Owensboro. Born July 8, 1966 in Kansas City, Kans. When you met him, you will never forget him. He would always try to bring a smile to your face and would do anything he could to help anyone. His Favorite Quote is “Who’s Your MIDGET!” He has been in the Wrestling Business for 36 years. He was on a reality show on Spike TV in 2009 called Half-pint Brawlers. He has traveled a great deal of the world and has made a ton of friends and fans that he has touched with his kindness and love. Preceded in Death: Mother Bessie Santoyo, Father Joe Santoyo, Brothers Leo and Paul Santoyo, and His late son Joseph Santoyo.
Survivors include his wife, Nina Ann Santoyo, of 8yrs (together 22yrs), sons Charles Barbosa, Xavier Barbosa, and Mikeal Santoyo, Jr. two granddaughters; sisters. Lucy Maldonado, Marylou Santoyo-Vasquez; brother: Joe Santoyo; any “adopted kids and grandkids”, and many family members that loved him.
