BREMEN – Maxine Combs, 92, of Bremen, died Tuesday, August 25, 2026, at 11:55AM at Owensboro Health Muhlenberg Community Hospital. Mrs. Combs was born January 5, 1934, in Perry County. She was a homemaker and member of Cedar Grove Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, Jesse Combs, Sr.; parents, Miller and Cora Couch; and brothers, D.C. Couch and Donnie Couch.
She is survived by her son, Jesse (Marietta) Combs, Jr. of Nelson Creek; daughter, Karen (Chris) Sparks of Greenville; and granddaughters, Emily (Scott) Bandy of Nelson Creek and Megan (Brock) Bowman of Tompkinsville.
Funeral services will be Friday, August 28, 2026, at 1:00PM at Tucker Funeral Home in Central City, with Bro. Cody Crowell officiating. Burial in Cedar Grove Cemetery in Bremen.
