GREENVILLE – Mary Lou Alvarez, 83, of Greenville, died Friday, November 1, 2024, at Greenville Nursing and Rehab in Greenville. Born January 4, 1941, in Midland. She was a member of Cedar Grove Church, and was a homemaker for her family. Mary is preceded in death by her son, Paul Alvarez; her step-daughter, Donna McKinney; her parents, Henry and Flora Belle Jarvis; and her sister, Hazel Mae Benzel.
Survivors include her step-children, Doreen Spencer and Mickee Wheeler; her sisters Lilly Pendley and Barbara Jones; and her brother, Henry David Jarvis.
Funeral services were held Monday, November 4, 2024 at 12 p.m. at Tucker Funeral Home in Central City with Bro. Cody Crowell officiating. Burial followed at Cedar Grove Cemetery.
