GREENVILLE —- Mary Ellen (Davis) Lindner, 87, of Hopkinsville, KY peacefully passed away Feb. 23, 2026 at the hospital in Greenville, Ky. Mary was born in Boone, Iowa Dec. 28, 1938 to Charles & Jesse Davis. When Mary was young, her family moved to Southern California.
Mary worked as a Dental Assistant while her children were younger, then later in life was a Clerk for the VA’s office in Redding, CA. Mary loved being outdoors, surrounded by her family and of course gardening was a passion of hers.
Mary is survived by her three children, daughter Jodi (Lindner) Mitchell of Grants Pass, OR, son Les Lindner of Hopkinsville, KY and son Todd Lindner of Hayward, CA, 6 grandchildren, 9 great grandchildren & 2 great-great grandchildren.
Cremation has taken place and no services are scheduled. Gary’s Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
