CENTRAL CITY – Mary E. Schiff, 91, of Central City, died Monday, May 2, 2022, at Owensboro Health Regional Hospital. Born January 10, 1931, in Muhlenberg County, she was a retired seamstress at Weinbach’s in Evansville, Ind., and a member of New Harmony Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, Frank “Bud” Schiff, parents, Dan and Cora Eades; son, Ricky Whittinghill; daughter, Carlotta Micklos; three brothers; and four sisters.
Survivors include her son, Ronnie (Sissie) Whittinghill of Bremen; granddaughters, Penny Whittinghill, Melissa Boldry, Barbara (Scott) Simpson, Kim (Greg) Hallum, Erica (Tommy) Stewart, and Mindy (Bo) Masden; twenty great-grandchildren; four great-great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be Saturday, May 7, 2022, at 1:00 p.m. at Tucker Funeral Home in Central City, with Bro. Chad Baggett officiating. Burial will follow in Mt. Pisgah Cemetery.
