Mary Dean Mitchell

GREENVILLE- Mary Dean Mitchell, 80, of Greenville passed away Thursday, September 15, 2022, surrounded by her family at Owensboro Health Regional Hospital. Born July 22, 1942. She attended church at the First Christian Church in Greenville, and retired from the Muhlenberg County School Board after 35 dedicated years.

Mary, or Mary Dean, as most people called her, was not any ordinary woman. To us, she was an extraordinary woman. She dedicated her heart and soul to her family, and was a faithful friend to many. She enjoyed line dancing, shopping, and surrounding herself with loved ones. She was known as “The Dancing Queen” to her friends, or the life of the party, and a long time member of the Homewreckers. She was small in stature, but mighty in spirit. Not only was she a force in this world, but was a light in our lives. She was preceded in death by her parents, John and Madge Kinkade, and several brothers and sisters.
