GREENVILLE – Mary Camplin, age 73, of Greenville, died Friday, May 16, 2025 at Owensboro Health Muhlenberg Community Hospital. Born August 17, 1951 in Muhlenberg County and was the former Chief, Deputy Clerk, Muhlenberg County Clerk’s Office; work in the Head Start Program and the Food Stamp Office; she was also a member of New Harmony Missionary Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her parents, Ned and Margie Watkins; bother, Donnie Watkins; brothers-in-law, Donald Wright and Tommy Spurlock.
Survivors. include her husband, Justin Camplin; sisters, Sue Spurlock and Barbara Wright; several cousins and many nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be Monday, May 19, 2025 at 12:00 p.m. at Tucker Funeral Home in Central City with Bro. Leroy Rearden officiating. Burial to follow in New Harmony Cemetery in Bremen. Visitation will begin Monday at 10:00 a.m. at the funeral home. The family requests expressions of sympathy may be made to the Muhlenberg County Humane Society.
