Martha Tennessee Jenkins, of Greenville Kentucky, passed away peacefully in her sleep early Sunday October 15, 2023. Martha was a lifelong resident of Muhlenberg County and a graduate of Muhlenberg Central High School. In her late teens she lived and worked in Bermuda after deciding to stay awhile during a vacation. It was one of her fondest memories. She returned home and married Amos Jenkins and had one daughter Amy. Martha and Amos celebrated 58 years of marriage. For many years she worked for Donan & Vick Attorneys and later for the Kentucky Department of Social Insurance.
Martha’s memory will be cherished by her daughter Amy Jenkins Harper and son in law Ricky Harper of Greenville, as well as her grandson Landon Harper, his wife Brittany Harper, and their daughter Ava Grace Harper of Jasper Ga. She will be missed by her sister, nephews, and niece whom she loved.
Funeral Services will be Saturday, October 21 at 1:00 p.m.at Gary’s Funeral Home in Greenville with Bro. Roger Heltsley officiating. Visitation will be Saturday fro 11:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Burial will follow in Woodland Cemetery in Greenville.
