CENTRAL CITY – Martha Lou Gray, 86, of Central City, died on Thursday, May 7, 2026 at 3:40AM at her residence. Ms. Gray was born in Browder on January 11, 1940. She was a member of Bremen Church of Jesus Christ and was a self-employed Upholstery and Garment Worker. She was a faithful member of Bremen Church of Jesus Christ. When she wasn’t sewing, she enjoyed drinking coffee, spending time with her great-grandchildren, taking them to the park and playing board games. She was preceded in death by her husband, George Gray, Sr.; parents, Ollie and Elanor Harris; brothers, Ronnie (Marie) Harris, and James “Bud” Harris; sisters, Irene Calloway, and Jewell Faught; and son-in-law, Casey Coe.
She is survived by her son, George (LaDonna) Gray, Jr.; daughter, Lana Coe; grandchildren, Brad (Brittney) Coe, Bryce (Jenn) Coe, Whitney (Josh) Nokes, Jill (Matthew) Hayward, and Daryn (Camden) Lile; great-grandchildren, Bella River Coe, Elliott Nokes, Kaybree Rayne Coe, Casey Lee Coe, Boden Nokes, Carissa Coe, and Jordan Coe; and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be Saturday, May 16, 2026 at 11AM at Tucker Funeral Home in Central City with Bro. Eddie Anderson officiating. Burial in Rose Hill Cemetery.
