CENTRAL CITY – Martha Ann Ward Withrow, 93, of Central City, died Tuesday, February 25, 2025, at 7:15 p.m. at her residence. Born June 30, 1931, in Earles, Muhlenberg County, Ky. She was preceded in death by her parents, William and Nettie Ward; husband of 46 years, Jerald V. Withrow in 2006; a son, Mitchell Stephen Allen in 1955; step-son, Ronald Joseph Withrow; and sisters and brothers, Erma, Agnes, Corene, Pauline, Faye, Dovie, Theresa, Beatrice, Bessie, Bernice, Ernest, Grover, Kenneth, and Kelly. She retired from Muhlenberg Community Hospital as an LPN after many years of service. She was a member of the Central City Church of Christ. She was active in many volunteer programs in Muhlenberg County and also in Daviess County, volunteering for the Pennyrile Area SCVP and for the Audubon Area.
Survivors include her daughter, Deborah (Doug) West of Greenville; step-children, Deborah (Bill) Houston of Florida, Penni (Mike) Cloud of Florida, and Mary Jane Withrow of Central City; two grandchildren; and 12 step-grandchildren.
She will be sadly missed by her family and church family.
Funeral services will be Saturday, March 1, 2025, at 12:00 p.m. at Tucker Funeral Home in Central City, with Mr. Bob Edlin officiating. Burial in Rose Hill Cemetery. Visitation will be Saturday after 10:00 a.m. at the funeral home. Online condolences may be made at www.tuckerfuneralhomes.com.
