GREENVILLE – Marion Kay Shemwell Massey, 78, of Greenville, died Thursday, April 28, 2022, at her home. Born January 13, 1944, in Muhlenberg County, she was a social worker and member of Ebenezer Missionary Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her parents, M.D. Shemwell and Ollie Mae Penrod Shemwell; first husband, Jeffrey Gordon Woodruff; son, Jeffrey Dewayne Woodruff; second husband, Oscar Thomas Massey; and brother-in-law, Luther Marvin Blaine.
Survivors include her sister, Betty Sue Shemwell Blaine; a nephew and niece.
Memorial services will be Saturday, May 7, 2022, at 11:00 a.m. at Ebenezer Missionary Baptist Church in Drakesboro, with Bro. Ryan Miller officiating. Visitation will be Saturday at 10:00 a.m. at the church. Burial will be at a later date. Tucker Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
