DRAKESBORO-Marilyn Sue Wood, 69, of Drakesboro died Friday, October 22, 2021 at her residence. Born March 23, 1952 in Muhlenberg County. She was a retired laborer with Flynn. She was preceded in death by her parents Charles and Violet Everett, and great-grandsons Joshua Burge and Brantley Roberts.
Survivors include her husband Jimmy Glen Wood; daughter Kim (Clif) Whitmer; grandchildren Maegan and Emily Whitmer; great-grandchildren Ava Marie Roberts, Grayson Burge and Carter Burge; brothers William ”Rusty” Everett and Charles Everett; sisters Karen Stevens and Doris Ann Everett.
Funeral services will be Tuesday, October 26, 2021 at 11:00 a.m. at Tucker Beechmont Funeral Home in Beechmont, with Bro. Leroy Rearden officiating. Burial will follow in Union Chapel Cemetery.
