BEAVER DAM – Marilyn McGuyer Hunsaker, 75, of Beaver Dam, Kentucky passed peacefully from this life on Thursday June 29, 2023 surrounded by her loving husband Wayne, daughters, sons- in-law, and grandchildren at Vanderbilt University Medical Center. Marilyn was preceded in death by her sister and best friend Judy Daniel on June 24, 2023; her parents, William (Bill) Taylor McGuyer and Gladys Welborn McGuyer; her mother and father-in-law, Anna Laura and Henry Hunsaker and a niece, Keena Beth Chumley.
Marilyn was a member of Beaver Dam Baptist Church and the Fort Hartford Chapter of the Daughters of the American Revolution. She was a Kentucky Colonel, a Media Clerk at Ohio County High School and taught Sunday School.
Survivors include her husband Wayne Hunsaker of Beaver Dam; daughters Lori Baerg of Lee’s Summit, Mo., Jennifer Autry of Beaver Dam and Mary Elizabeth Hunsaker of Beaver Dam; four grandchildren; sisters Donna Stacy, Deborah Taylor, and Pam Craig; a sister-in-law; several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be Monday, July 3, 2023 at 11:00 a.m. at Tucker Funeral Home in Central City with Bro. Glen Armstrong officiating. Burial will follow in Nelson Creek. Visitation will be Sunday from 5:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m., and Monday from 9:00 a.m. – 11:00 a.m. at the funeral home. Online condolences may be made at www.tuckerfuneralhomes.com.
