GREENVILLE—Margaret Evelyn Poyner, 89, of Greenville, passed away Wednesday, June 11, 2025 at Owensboro Health Muhlenberg Community Hospital in Greenville. Born July 21st, 1935 in Muhlenberg County, the daughter of the late Homer Lawrence Grubb and Eta Mae Rock. She was of the Baptist faith and a checker at Greenville IGA.
She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband Clayvol Freeman Poyner.
Private graveside services will be conducted at Evergreen Cemetery in Greenville with Rev. Kerry Vincent officiating. Gary’s Funeral Home in Greenville is in charge of arrangements.
She is survived by several nieces and nephews.
There will be no visitation.
