GREENVILLE – Marcia Evelyn Lee, 90, of Greenville, passed away Thursday, December 25 at Greenville Nursing and Rehabilitation. Born February 16, 1935, in Christian County, Ky., the daughter of Archie Young and Stella Walker Young Haithcoat. She was a homemaker and a member of Oak Grove Baptist Church.
She was preceded in death by her husband Ransom Everette “R. E.” Lee, her children Everette Lee, Lawrance Lee and Belinda Mason, her daughter-in-law Teresa Lee, her brothers Cleo Young and Joe Young, and her sister Violet Wadlington.
Funeral services will be held Sunday, December 28, at 2:00 p.m. at Gary’s Funeral Home in Greenville with Bro. Shannon Garrett officiating. Burial will follow in Oak Grove Cemetery in Depoy.
Survivors include her children, Jerry (Sherry) Lee, Kenneth Lee, Melanie (Lee) Vincent; daughters-in-law, Sandy Lee, Kathy Lee; brothers, Clifford (Melinda) Young, Milburn (Shirley) Young, Morris (Penny) Haithcoat, Johnny Haithcoat; sister, Nancy (Joe) Workman; ten grandchildren; 16 great grandchildren; five great-great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews; and a special friend, Martin Fentress.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, December 28 at Gary’s Funeral Home from 11:00 a.m. until 2:00 p.m.
Pall bearers will be Dennis Vincent, Michael Lee, Harrison Howard, Travis Drury, Dade Vincent,
Fred Drury, and Shane Gray.
