CENTRAL CITY – Lyndell Lee Randolph, 92, of Central City, died Tuesday, April 11, 2023, at 5:15 a.m. at Owensboro Health Regional Hospital. Born April 14, 1930, in Muhlenberg County, he was a self-employed appliance repairman, and a member of Reservoir Hill Pentecostal Church. He was a U.S. Army veteran, serving during the Korean War. Mr. Randolph loved music, especially gospel, country, and bluegrass. He enjoyed playing bass guitar and mandolin. He also enjoyed deer hunting from the car, and spending time with his family. He was preceded in death by his wife, Imojean Randolph; parents, Herbert and Gladys Randolph; and brothers, Clark Randolph and Carol Randolph.
Survivors include his children, Karen (Donald) Geary, Jeff (Tina) Randolph, and Tammy (Robert) Fisher; grandchildren, Bryan (Emily) Geary, Nathaniel (Kristyn) Fisher, Adam (Brook) Fisher, and Ashley Cruse; great-grandchild, Liberty Fisher; sister, Nelda Carter; brother, Vernon Randolph; and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be Thursday, April 13, 2023, at 1:00 p.m. at Tucker Funeral Home in Central City, with Bro. James Mason officiating. Burial will follow in Rose Hill Cemetery.
