LEWISBURG – Lucian Hunt, Jr., 84, of Lewisburg, died Monday, July 24, 2023 at 10:30 a.m. at his residence. Born July 4, 1939 in Muhlenberg County, he was a retired Coal Prep Manager from Amax Coal Co. and was a member of Myers Chapel United Methodist Church. He was preceded in death by his parents, Catherine, and Lucian Hunt Sr.; sisters, Virginia Blankenship, Jeannie Miller, and Peggy Laughlin; and brother, John Hunt.
Survivors include his wife, Marilyn Hunt; sons, Jonathan Hunt of Ft. Thomas, Ky. and Gary Hunt of Jeffersonville, Ind.; two grandchildren; sister, Jo Ann Wilson; and several nieces and nephews.
Graveside services will be Thursday, July 27, 2023 at 11:00 a.m. at Union Ridge Cemetery in Belton with David Anderson officiating. Visitation will be Thursday from 9:00 a.m. – 10:30 a.m. at Tucker Beechmont Funeral Home. Tucker Funeral Homes is in charge of arrangements.
