GREENVILLE – Loyd Henry Corley, 85, of Greenville, died Thursday, December 5, 2024 at 2:32 a.m. at Owensboro Health Regional Hospital in Owensboro. Born September 27, 1939 in Muhlenberg County. He was of the Christian faith and worked in Administration for the City of San Bernardino. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, golfing, painting, and traveling. He was a part of the Mounted Posse in Fontana, Ca.. He was a caring and loving man to his wife, Kanitia Corley for six years. He was preceded in death by his brother, Sandy Corley; sister, Becky; and parents, John and Catherine Corley.
Survivors include his wife, Kanitia Corley; son, Wendall Corley; stepdaughter, Tammy Console; stepson, Shane Napier; two sisters, Kaye and Sue; grandchildren; several great-grandchildren; and nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be Tuesday, December 10, 2024 at 9 a.m. at Tucker Funeral Home in Central City with Pastor Kellan Lamb officiating. Burial in Kentucky Veteran’s Cemetery West. Visitation will be Tuesday from 8-9 a.m. at the funeral home. A Committal Service will be at 12P p.m.on Tuesday at Kentucky Veteran’s Cemetery West in Hopkinsville.
