Linda Lou Allison

Linda Lou Allison, 82, of Bowling Green passed away peacefully on Wednesday, January 4, 2023 in Nashville, with her children at her bedside.  Linda died of complications from a head injury sustained after a fall.

Born Linda Lou Willis on July 13, 1940 in Depoy, to the late Bill and Margaret (Vinson) Willis, Linda was raised in Graham and graduated from Graham High School in 1958.  Following graduation, she relocated to Detroit, Mich. and worked as a corporate secretary for a large insurance firm.  In 1960, she married the late James E. Allison, who preceded her in death in 2001.  Together they had two children, David and Kimberly.  The family relocated to Bowling Green in 1977.

Linda was a dynamo with a fantastic work ethic.  She was employed in the commercial food industry most of her life, owning and operating restaurants in both Detroit and Bowling Green and later working as a sales representative for Southern Foods until her retirement in 2006.
