CENTRAL CITY – Linda Ann Doss, 76, of Central City, went to be with the Lord on Monday, April 11, 2022, at Maple Health and Rehabilitation in Greenville. Born September 20, 1945, in Muhlenberg County, she was a member of Green River Chapel General Baptist Church, where she was active in her Sunday School Class and Women’s Ministry when she was able to attend. Linda loved her family, and especially enjoyed all of her friends she made at Maple Health. She had a simple, innocent, unconditional love for everyone she met. Linda was preceded in death by her parents, Claude and Ella Doss; brothers, Claude “Buddy” Doss, George “Pete” Doss, Elmer Doss, and Emmett “Bud” Doss; and sisters, Donnie Shemwell, Mae Morris, Jean Durall, and Eva Bevil.
Survivors include her brother, Donald (Paula) Doss; sister-in-law, Ava Doss; and many loving nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be Friday, April 15, 2022, at 2:00 p.m. at Tucker Funeral Home in Central City, with Bro. Brian McElwain officiating. Burial will follow in Fairmount Cemetery.
