CENTRAL CITY – Leroy Wilson, 69 of Central City, passed away July 30, 2025 at Owensboro Health Muhlenberg Community Hospital while under the care of hospice. Born January 12, 1956, at Greenville Community Hospital. He was a loving father, grandfather, brother and friend who will be deeply missed by all who knew him. He was preceded in death by his parents, Roy and Dorothy Wilson; wife, Sandy Wilson, daughter, Alisha Marie Wilson; brothers, Billy Roy, Jimmy Roger, Tommy and Charles Wilson; and sisters Betty O’Bannon and Debbie Murphy.
In keeping with his wishes, cremation will take place. A private family gathering may be held at a later date.
