Drakesboro- Larry Ray Bullock, 82, of Drakesboro died Tuesday, January 27, 2026 at Twin Rivers Nursing and Rehabilitation in Owensboro. Born in Greenville, August 14, 1943. He was a retired truck driver for Ingram Trucking and a member of First United Methodist Church in Central City. Larry enjoyed reading and crossword puzzles. In the summer, he loved to go boating and fishing. When he was a young man, rabbit hunting was one of his favorite things to do. He was always ready to watch his favorite basketball team, the Kentucky Wildcats. In recent days, you could find him in his recliner watching one of his favorite westerns. He is preceded in death by his father, Robert Lee “Bob” Bullock; mother, Mary Lee Gaston Bullock; brother, Charles “Charlie” Bullock; nephew, Gary Ortkiese.
Survivors include his wife, Elizabeth Ann Bullock; daughter, Angela (Neal) Pyle; granddaughters, Nadia Pyle and Jocelyn Pyle; step-grandson, Christian Pyle; sister, Pat (Donnie) Ortkiese; niece, Cindy (Rick) Emerson; great nephew, Mark Emerson; step daughter, Barbara (JD) Hill.
Funeral services will be held Monday, February 2, 2026 at 2:00 PM at Tucker Funeral Home in Central City with Bro. Scott Milby officiating. Burial will be in Rose Hill Cemetery in Central City. Visitation will be held Monday, February 2, 2026 beginning at 11:00 AM at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Alzheimer’s Foundation of America, Gideons International, or First United Methodist Church in Central City.
