CENTRAL CITY – Larry Holten Bailey, 85, of Central City, passed away Wednesday, December 23, 2020, at Norton Audubon Hospital in Louisville with his loving wife of 63 years by his side. Born August 2, 1935, in Central City. He was a machinist at General Electric and a U.S. Army veteran. He was preceded in death by his sons, Jackie W. Bailey and Thomas E. Bailey.
Survivors include his wife, Mary Lewis Bailey; sons Donald Bailey, James Bailey and Tim Allen; daughters Tammy Wilson and Mary Bowman; 21 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren.
Funeral services were held Sunday, December 27, 2020, at 1:00 p.m. at Tucker Funeral Home in Central City, with Bro. Chris Lewis officiating. Burial followed in Fairmount Cemetery. Online condolences may be made at www.tuckerfuneralhomes.com.
